What Not To Do With Pet Urine in Carpets: Carpet Cleaning Castle Rock Co
It happens our furry family members will eventually have an accident on the carpet. When it happens your natural instinct is to clean it up immediately. Pet urine stains not only leave and ugly stain but you also have the odor from bacteria as well. Hi I'm Kyle with TLC Carpet Care in Castle Rock Co and Im going to share a few tips on what to do with a pet urine stain and even more importantly what not to do.
First what not to do. Don't add cleaners that do absolutely nothing to remove the stain. Most after market cleaners will only cover up the stain and ultimately make it worse. Another big no no is adding liquid to the urine stain. Your only going to make it worse by spreading the urine down further into the carpet and in the padding. Also don't scrub the urine stain and fray the carpet your only cause fiber damage.
Think one word BLOT. You wanna find a towel thats dye free and blot as much of the urine out of the carpet. If you have a shop van you can use that to dry to extract as much of the urine as possible. Once you've blot as much as possible you can use a remedy that can work by spraying on a little vinegar and water or oil you have pet enzymes that will help as well.
Ultimately you want to contact a professional carpet cleaning company to professionally cleaning your carpets and remove the urine and bacteria permanently. Call TLC Carpet Care Today 720.314.0178
