Carpet Cleaning & Dyeing For Bleach Stains in Castle Rock Co
Many times when a homeowner goes to clean a carpet stain they reach for something to clean with that they shouldn't. For example bleach. Well congrats you've removed the stain but you also removed the original dye. Now What? At TLC Carpet Crae in Castle Rock we can put the original color back into the carpet by neutralizing and adding the color back. If not completely satisfied with the final color of the spot dye, our technician can patch the area if needed.
Our carpet dye technicians can only change the color of the carpet if we stay in the same color family. Such as, we can take medium beige or brown carpet or a green to a medium or dark green end result. Dying will not work if you alter the color wheel. Like making a brown color orange. keep in mind also you can only dye darker. If your stain is a dark color you cannot dye lighter.
TLC Carpet Care's dye process involves many steps:
- Step 1: Steam clean the carpet to a 7.5 PH scale on the area to be dyed.
- Step 2: Remove all soiling and any bacteria in the carpets or carpet protector that might be in the fibers.
- Step 3: The carpet fiber is now neutral and clean and now ready for the dye can be applied.
- Step 4: The acid dye blockers and Teflon Protector are reapplied once the new dye is set in and dried.
Please note: If any stains from other food dyes, ink stains to beverage dyes like kool-aid are present they will have to be removed before the dying process. If not, these stains will take on the dye at a different shade and will not be the desired color.
