Does your carpet cleaning include pretreating spots and spills? 

At TLC Carpet Care in Castle Rock, we don't do bait and switch which is to say yes, normal pre-treating spots and spills are included. Our enzymatic pretreatment is designed to dissolve most of the common spots and spills. Drinks and food stains, along normal soiling almost always removed with the standard treatments. There are some specific spots or spills that won’t come up with just a normal pretreatment. Examples would be protein stains such as blood, protein, and coffee stain.These type of spills can alter a carpets normal ph level and in those situations you may need an acid rinse to correct ph levels. They may or may not be included with the original quote. If you have any of these stains be sure to tell the carpet technician during the initial walk thru and he will apply the acid rinse for that specific spot and give you a quote if it will be additional, or that spot could be free of charge. The only products that are not included in the cleaning price are pet solutions treatments in the case that you have pet stains and odors. In that case your carpets will require an anti-bacterial enzyme treatment. Also carpet protection services are always additional. be sure to ask your carpet technician. 

Our professional carpet cleaning technicians are trained to identify different spots and spills to evaluate the method of removal and cleaning process of spots and spills. However, if you know exactly the nature of the stain be sure to inform your carpet cleaning technician. 

Now there are some stains that can be permanent and may not be able to removed. Such stains would be paint, dye, rust stain and burns. Some traffic area with extreme soiling may have oxidized the carpets. If your technician suspects you may have a permanent stain he will inform you before the cleaning process and may recommend you to consider replacing or patching that part of the carpet.
