A DIY Method For Mold Removal:

If the carpet is wall to wall, then pull it up and inspect the underneath condition. If not, determine if the mold infestation warrants pulling it out and replacing.  If you see mold at the edges of the tach strip, that's usually a sign of an underlying mold problem. If that's the case, the carpet and padding will have to be removed, and sub floor bleached out.

 If not, start by mixing the Molecular Modifier and spraying the surface of the the contaminated areas. Let the chemical soak for a few minutes before scrubbing with the area with the nylon brush. The goal is to dissolve the mold spores and extract the mold from the carpet Use a dry vac to vacuum and extract the mold as you clean it from the carpet. Repeat this process if necessary until all the carpet has been completely flushed. Apply towel and lightly apply pressure and dry the area commercial fan.
