• Vacuum rugs at least once a week. Fringes should be hand cleaned with care.
• When accidents happen blot-up the spills asap.. Then dilute the area with vinegar and water and gently blot. Never ever scrub the fibers as this can cause your fibers to fray. • Rugs that actually get walked on need to be rotated to ensure even wear and traffic patterns every six months
• How often should your rug be professionally cleaned? The answer depends on wether it is in a location that does not get walked or if it's in a hallway that does get a lot of traffic. In general at least once a year, however if you have pets then twice a year is more recommend keeping soiling and pet hair to a minimum.
