Everyone has bugs in there home, and no one is exempt, but did you know you may have carpet beetles. Carpet beetles are very small insect that crawl inside your carpets that are about a quarter inch long. Chances are if you do have then you would never see them but they are there hiding. They are mainly outside creatures however, opportunistic and will take advantage of open windows and doors and crawl there way into your homes where they feed on fabrics and yarn which makes carpets, rugs and upholstery a hardy meal for them. Thou thats not the worst news. Once they find a home in your carpets they lay eggs that will use the carpeting as a food source when the eggs  hatch. The only way to get rid of these bugs is to hire a professional carpet cleaning company. If you don't the beetles can spread beyond the carpeting to your area rugs and upholstery where they'll feast on your fabrics. If you find one on you they will actually feed on your favorite sweater.
