Step 1: Contain the paint:

•  Place a towel or two around the paint to keep it from spreading out. 
• Use Bounty paper towels to very gently bot the paint a little at a time. Note there is paint deep in the fiber, we don't want that to spread. 

Step 2: Mix one teaspoon of a light dish soap with cold water.  

• The dish soap must be mild and free of bleach.
• Blot gently on the paint stain with clean towels and repeat the process. 
• With another clean towel blot with cold water. 
• Repeat the entire process until you feel all the paint is gone.
• Place fan on carpet to expedite dry time.
