1.  Spray a small amount of Citrus directly onto the gum stain.
2. After applying the Citrus cleaner, let the citrus to soak and dissolve the gum.  
3. Use the buddy knife to gently dislodge the stain, scrubbing the gum stain from beneath the fiber slowly pulling up. 
4. Keep applying Citrus cleaner if necessary, followed by a gentle rinse with moist towel. 
5. Repeat as necessary.
6. To clean the area, spray some vinegar and water directly onto the affected area and slowly blot dry. 
7. Rinse a clean sponge with warm water and apply the sponge to the carpet.
8. Gently clean the area until the stain is no longer visible.
9. Place a fan directly on the carpet for quicker dry time.
