Code W (Wet Cleaning) - Wet cleaning upholstery is the same steam cleaning process as like cleaning carpet. Hot steam at 200 degrees mixed with an emulsifier is sprayed onto the fabric and left to dwell and then immediately extracted. Because very little water is left in the fabric, the furniture dries within just a couple hours. This steam cleaning method provides the best cleaning results.

 

Code S (Dry Cleaning) - Many upholstery fabrics are natural fibers and are labeled as dry clean.  Although professional carpet cleaning companies can be safely be cleaned, Castle Rock homeowners should not attempt to clean the furniture themselves as using the wrong solution can cause shrinkage and bleeding.
