Getting Ready For Your Carpet Cleaning appointment.
Thank you for choosing TLC Carpet Care in Castle Rock. For those who have never cleaned your carpets before, here are a handful of tips to help you get ready for your cleaning before we arrive.
- Remove any moveable items from the carpeted rooms you want cleaned. (Example plants, small furniture pieces, small area rugs, and any breakables. Check your kids rooms of any clothing and or toys, clearing the rooms being cleaned. It’s ok if you decide to leave heavier furniture in place on the carpet, especially bedroom furniture. If there is a chair or something you want moved just ask the carpet cleaning tech. The tech will clean around whatever furniture you don't want moved.
- Be sure to secure any pets that you may have as the front door will be propped open and be sure to have the kids especially toddlers and young kids out of the way. Speaking of pets, if you have any be sure to vacuum your carpets ahead of our arrival.
- If you have any particular spots or stains that you want to to be cleaned and removed be sure to share those areas with the tech as you walk thru your home together. Be prepared to ask any questions you may have.
- If you have ever used any chemicals or soap in your carpets be sure to let the technician know where those areas are as we may have to do an acid rinse on those areas.
- Make sure the water to the spicket is not shut off. Sometimes homeowners may turn off their water once the sprinkler systems have been blown out.
- Lastly make plans for you and your family to get out of the house for a few hours during the drying process which last on average 6 to 8 hours.
