Professional Hot Water Extraction, Known As Steam Cleaning 

Professional hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning  is the most common used carpet cleaning process  recommended by manufactures like Shaw Industries and the IICRC. 

Steam cleaning is designed to offer a thorough cleaning of your carpets, while other methods only provide a surface cleaning that dries quicker but only cleans the surface. Steam cleaning is able to penetrate deep into the carpet fibers to extract dirt and debris in a more effective way of cleaning everything. This process does take longer to dry thou. Usually 6 to 8 hours on average. 

Hot water extraction uses a hydro force pre-sprayer with chemicals to force dirt and debris out of the carpet. The dirt is then extracted and rinsed with the cleaning wand. Combined with the spraying solution and cleaning pressure over 500 PSI the chemicals and water which is then recovered using a powerful vacuum that is part of the truck-mount. The dirty water is returned to the waste tank for proper disposal at a different location.
