After TLC Carpet Care in Castle Rock cleans your carpets there is a drying process where majority of issues with rug cleaning occur. This can sometimes be disturbing but it's not as bad as it seems. That's when pH alteration can happen from a neutral to an alkaline. Dyes can migrate or bleed, fringes can trap moisture and brown out so among other problems which is why our next step of removing as much water as possible is so important to avoid these possibilities. A rug browning out can also happen which can look like a haze of dirt on the surface on the carpet. This can easily be corrected by applying an acid rinse. We use different extraction tools and techniques to extract the moisture from the fibers and backing before it is placed on our drying rack in our temperature regulated shop. We also use the benefit of commercial air movers, dehumidifiers, and other methods to expedite the drying time. When the final drying stage is done, we do a final post inspection to make sure all soiling is complete and all spots and stains are gone. At this point our carpet cleaning technician will verify by using moisture meters to determine that the rug is completely dry and is ready for delivery.
