When a carpet technician from TLC Carpet Care arrives at your home, we’ll make sure that the work scheduled on the invoice and cost of services on the invoice is what you were told. We’ll ask you to remove any pets and see the kids are not in any of the rooms being cleaned for their safety. Our techs then move light furniture that is not a liability and not at risk to be broken when moved. However, some furniture cannot be moved, such as entertainment centers, TV's or bedroom furniture.

To start cleaning, we pre-vacuum all carpets and rugs. Next we’ll apply our citrus based carpet cleaning pre-spray to the carpet as to break up soils.  Once our citrus pre-spray done, we use a steam cleaning NINGA potable machine to steam and rinse to extract all dirt or stains, allowing us to remove all the spots, stains and heavily soiled areas. If there are any spots that need special attention, we have specific carpet cleaning chemicals for proteins, rust, dyes and bacteria alike.

When we’re done cleaning, we’ll move the furniture back and place block underneath the legs to protect the carpet from furniture bleed and or rusting. Anything flat like a chest will have to be kept off the carpets until it's completely dry. 

The last step we take is to rake the carpet with a nylon carpet rake. This helps the carpet fibers stand up, the carpet dries faster normally in 4 to 6 hours.
